Sometimes it seems like all guys are afraid to commit and dread any mention of the word marriage.
But it turns out this actually isn’t true, at least according to AskMen.com’s 2013 Great Male Survey.
Out of 20,000 men surveyed, 72% responded that they believe in the institution of marriage and plan to get married some day.
17% believe in the institution of marriage but don’t plan to get married.
Only 11% said they do not believe in marriage at all.
When asked if it was important for a girlfriend to have “wife potential,” 32% said they wouldn’t bother pursuing a woman who wasn’t a potential wife.
48% said it was somewhat important for a girlfriend to be marriage material, but they wouldn’t break up with her if she wasn’t.
20% said they did not care if a girlfriend had “wife potential” because they didn’t look that far ahead in relationships.
This is good news if you’ve been dating guys and have had a hard time finding someone who actually wants to settle down and get married.
The majority of men out there are looking for a wife, you’ve just got to find them!
